Allen Bert Clary

Allen Bert Clary, age 81, of Baraboo, WI, died Friday, October 2, 2020, at his residence. He was born June 18, 1939, in Rockbridge Township, Richland County, the son of Clarence and Grace (Balsley) Clary. After graduating from Ithaca High School, Allen first worked for Martin’s Inc. and then worked for American Motors and Chrysler Corp in Kenosha for 30 years, retiring in September of 1989 and returning to the Loyd area in Richland County. Allen drove school bus for Ithaca for 16 years and moved to Baraboo in 2005 and drove school bus for Renewal Unlimited in Baraboo for 5 years, where he was grandpa to 34 children every year. Allen was first married to Genene Hanold September 3rd, 1960 and then united in marriage October 26, 1985 to Lorinda (Scheuffele) Miklian. He served on the Richland County Board for 10 years 1992-2002, serving on; Finance, Personnel, Zoning, Law Enforcement and Recycling Committees. He also served on the Southwest International Trade Business & Economic Development Board for several years. He became a child of God in August 1984 and was a member of the North Freedom Baptist Church. His favorite hobby was family history. He also helped organize and enjoy the annual Clary Campout every Labor Day weekend since 1970. Survivors include his wife Lorinda (Scheuffele) Clary, Baraboo, WI; four children, Jeffery (Mary) Clary of Kenosha, WI, Richard Miklian of Seattle, WA, Rhonda (Todd) Hamilton of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Robert Miklian of Texas; five Grandchildren, Kevin Babineau, Michael (Alyssa) Clary, Kastyn Miklian, Emilee Miklian, and Jacob Hamilton; one sister and two brothers, Janice (Larry Denman) Derlein of Portage, WI, Gene (Marge) Clary of Ithaca, WI, Tommy (Nancy) Clary of Bear Valley, WI; brother-in-law, Christian (Bridget) Kurth of New London, WI; Sisters-in-law, Alice Clary of Central City, Iowa, Barbara Clary of Ithaca, WI; best friends, Cliff and Sherrie Johnson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Grace (Balsley) Clary; four siblings, Dorothy Kurth, James Clary, Dwayne Clary and Ronnie Clary; two brothers-in-law, Carl Bomkamp and George Derlein; one sister-in-law, LaVern Clary. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center, WI. Pastor Andy Dear will officiate with burial in the Richland Center Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and also on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
