He was born June 30, 1934, at home, the son of Leland and Gladys “Ma” (Miller) Anderson. He married Ruth Winslow on March 9, 1956 at Willow Valley United Methodist Church in Ithaca. Neal was involved in many activities and jobs thru the years: Athletic Director, Bus Driver and School Board Member at Ithaca; President and Superintendent with the Beef Producers; long time dairy farmer and life time member of Willow Valley Church, VARC driver, member of the Oakwood Bowling Team and a loving husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. Survivors include his 5 children, Sharyn (Barry) Borchert of Reedsburg, WI, Kevin (Lynn) Anderson of Fairchild, WI, Susan (Jay) Scheuer of Rowley, MA, Mary Jo (Dave) Kussmaul of Bloomington, WI, Kenny (Carolyn) Anderson of Richland Center; 13 grandchildren, Dana (Kyle) Falk, Dominic (Lori) Rott, Amanda (Chris) Running, Brandon (Amanda) Anderson, Travis (fiancé Ellie) Borchert, Tyson (fiancé Lindsay) Borchert, Alex Scheuer, Walter (fiancé Claudia) Scheuer, Brittany (Brandon) Martin, Abigail (Shai) Stafford, Cassandra Anderson (Brandon), Morgan and Logan Anderson; 11 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Alice Richards; 1 brother-in-law Jim Connors; sister, Eva Lou Annear; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Winslow Anderson; mother, Glady’s “Ma” Anderson; daughter, Diana Rott – 1999; 3 sisters-in-law, Charlotte Williams, Mary Connors, Carol Amelong; 2 brothers-in-law, Tom Williams and Orlen Richards. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center with Pastor Rob Richards officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of services. Burial will be held at a later date in the Willow Valley Cemetery.
