Timothy L. Miller

Timothy Lynn Miller (64 years old) passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 29th, 2024. Tim was born in Dodgeville on June 18th, 1960 to Helen Dietzman. He grew up on his family farm in Rewey with his grandparents and older brother Robert until his adult life. In 1980, Tim married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Debra (Fry) at the United Methodist Church in Rewey. After getting married they farmed locally and in 1984, they moved to Richland County to start their own farm together. In 1980, Debra and Timothy were blessed with their first son Mathew and added three more children: Kathryn in 1982, David in 1984 and Andrew in 1988. Besides raising their children, in their free time they enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and four-wheeling. Tim also could be found tinkering on tractors and found joy in taking drives through the junk yard for his next project tractor purchase, he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren fixing these tractors, particularly any Farmall H. With his adventures in farming, also came a love for animals; he really enjoyed as well as owned several beagles as companions in his lifetime. Tim is survived by his loving wife Debra of 44 years, his children Matthew (Nicole) Miller of Platteville, WI, Kathryn (John) Anderson of Lone Rock, WI, David (Bryanna) Miller of Camp Douglas, WI and Andrew (Kimberly) Miller of Elroy, WI. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kristopher, Lily, April, Jake, Justin, Faith, Odell and Orville. Tim is further survived by his mother Helen (Homer) Dietzman of Mt. Horeb, WI; his brother, Robert (Colleen) Miller of Rewey, WI; sibling in-laws, Sarah Aide, Mike (Carla) Fry, Patti Jo Fry, Carl (Stacey) Fry, and Carol (Patrick) Edge; special cousins Shelby (Colleen) Cushman. As well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Fawn and Margaret Cushman and his in-laws Carl and Mina Fry. As well as L.Carlyle and Mabel Fry and Meade and Carolyn Arms. The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice for their guidance and assistance of the last several weeks of Tim’s life. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Noon at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center, WI.
