Joann Seymour

July 29, 1935 - May 14, 2022

Joann Seymour died peacefully after a short illness on May 14, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born on July 29, 1935 to Emil and Elsie (Nachtigal) Snorek in Richland County, Wisconsin. She married Kenneth Seymour on August 17, 1963 and they lived in Richland County before moving to Rockford, Illinois. She retired from Barber Colman Co. and moved with her son to Atlanta, GA and then to Lakeland, FL while continuing to enjoy spending summers with her sister in Rockford. Joann loved her son Kevin, her sister Janice- her best friend for 80 years plus, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Joann enjoyed going racing and had many wonderful memories of visiting short track racetracks all over Wisconsin with her husband and son. She also liked shopping and taking short car trips. She is survived by her devoted son Kevin (Catherine Dumont) of Lakeland, Fl, her grandson, Marshall (Allysa) of Atlanta, Ga her granddaughter Marley McAdams (Richard) of Winter Haven, Fl, her 5 great-grandchildren Annastyn & Landon Seymour of Atlanta, Ga and Richard, Margaret and George McAdams of Winter Haven, Fl, her sister Janice Schuetz of Rockford, IL her nephews Darrell Snorek (Bobbie) of Rockford, IL, and Duane Snorek (Kim) of Danbury, WI, her great nephews and nieces Jackson Snorek of Rockford, IL, Madison Snorek of Rockford, IL, Sean Snorek (Devon) of Fairbanks, AK, Alicia Snorek of Danbury, WI and Riley Snorek of Danbury, WI and many many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and parents. A Celebration of Life for Joann will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 at Noon at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center, with Rev. Joyce Palmer officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Noon with luncheon to follow at the funeral home.
