Timothy E. Kearney, age 77, of Keyesville died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Our House Memory Care in Richland Center. He was born June 1, 1936 in Richland County the son of Edward and Mary (Pulvermacher) Kearney. Tim graduated from Ithaca High School in 1955. On June 18, 1960 he married Margaret Norwalk at St. Mary's Keyesville. As a young farmer he showed cattle statewide for the Brace Brothers. He loved snowmobiling and speed was one of his traits. Tim was a past member of the Ithaca Town Board, past Treasure/Secretary of the Richland County Wagon Train, past Horse Pulling President, and inducted into the Horse Pulling Hall of Fame 2001. Also, the Richland County Wagon Train was dedicated to Tim for 2013. Tim hauled livestock for 61 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Keyesville. Survivors include his wife Margaret Kearney of Hillpoint; 2 sisters, Wanda Anderson-Schauf of Spring Green, Fern (Ron) Christianson of Waunakee; 2 sister-in-laws, Pat (Jim) Shireman of Richland Center, Rose Marie (Gerald) Durst of Plover; nieces and nephews, Todd (Amy) Christianson of Menomonee Falls WI, Stacy Hauden of Spring Green, Mark and Tim Schauf both of Spring Green, Ann (Andrew) Madsen of Illinois, Eric Fuller of Antigo, Brian (Shannon) Fuller of Illinois, Dan Durst, Nathan Durst, Tammera Durst all of Illinois; great nieces and great nephews, Makenzie Grace Christianson, Hudson Hauden, Harrison Hauden, Alyssa (Tommy) Breternitz, Cody Schauf, Jenna Schauf, Kaitlyn Fuller, Anaka Fuller, Grace Fuller, Amber Fuller, Cody Fuller, Jim Cullen, and Michael Cullen. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters Jane Ann Kearney and Ellen Marie Kearney; a sister and brother-in-law Shirley (Merle) Rossing; brother-in-laws Jim Schauf and Larry Fuller; parent-in-laws Richard and Marcella Norwalk. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Keyesville. Fr. Eric Berns will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center and also at church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
