Randall "Randy" Lundgren

Randall “Randy” Lundgren, age 61, of Richland Center, died surrounded by family after a long fought battle with cancer, Monday, May 14th, 2018 at Our House in Richland Center, WI. He was born on August 2nd, 1956 in Burlington, WI the son of Clarence Otto and Betty Mae (Beyer) Lundgren. Randy was a loving father and grandfather all the way to the end. His life had always been focused on family and friends. He truly loved being outdoors and was no stranger to a hard day’s work. The biggest treasure of his life was the people he met and the stories he earned. Randy loved playing guitar, reading and gardening but nothing made him smile more than being with his grandsons. Days spent planting beans, helping with yardwork or throwing rocks in the Blue River are just a few of the cherished memories his grandsons have of him. He taught his children the importance of earning your way and a keeping a level head. He will always be lovingly remembered as “Papa Goat” a name he took great pride in. Randy will be greatly missed, but he would ask you all to not shed a tear. He knew his job was done here and that there is a loving family waiting for him on the other side. Survivors include his wife Pamela Ward of Richland Center, WI; 2 sons, David (Amber) Lundgren, Jacob (Jasmine) Lundgren; 6 grandchildren, Kaden, Rylan, Gavin, Isaac, Mason, and Elijah Lundgren all of Richland Center, WI; brother-in-law, Tim Ward of Muscoda, WI; sisters-in-law, Brenda Walsh of Paddock Lake, WI, Diane (Elander) Smallwood of Muscoda, WI; father-in-law, Bernard Ward of Muscoda, WI; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Allen Lundgren; brother, Gilbert Warren Lundgren; his parents Clarence and Betty Lundgren; mother-in-law, Lila Ward. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM with food and refreshments at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to G.R.A.C.E, P.O Box 213, Richland Center, WI 53581. Burial will be held immediately following the Celebration of Life at the Richland Center Cemetery.
